உணவை சேமித்து வாழும் ஒட்டகம்! (camel)

உணவை சேமித்து வாழும் ஒட்டகம்! (camel)

19/05/2012 mr.alshan king

ow to reset Windows administrator password

How to Hack Windows Administrator Password

Hack Windows Administrator Password

This hack will show you how to reset Windows administrator password (for Win 2000, XP, Vista and Win 7) at times when you forget it or when you want to gain access to a computer for which you do not know the password.

Most of us have experienced a situation where in we need to gain access to a computer which is password protected or at times we may forget the administrator password without which it becomes impossible to login to the computer. So here is an excellent hack using which you can reset the password or make the password empty (remove the password) so that you can gain administrator access to the computer.
You can do this with a small tool called  Offline NT Password & Registry Editor. This utility works offline, that means you need to shut down your computer and boot off your using a floppy disk, CD or USB device (such as pen drive). The tool has the following features.

  • You do not need to know the old password to set a new one
  • Will detect and offer to unlock locked or disabled out user accounts!
  • There is also a registry editor and other registry utilities that works under linux/unix, and can be used for other things than password editing.
How it works?

Most Windows operating systems stores the login passwords and other encrypted passwords in a file called sam (Security Accounts Manager). This file can be usually found in \windows\system32\config. This file is a part of Windows registry and remains inaccessible as long as the OS is active. Hence it is necessary that you need to boot off your computer and access this sam file via boot. This tool intelligently gains access to this file and will reset/remove the password associated with administrator or any other account.

The download link for both CD and floppy drives along with the complete instructions is given below

It is recommended that you download the CD version of the tool since floppy drive is outdated and doesn’t exist in today’s computer. Once you download you’ll get a bootable image which you need to burn it onto your CD. Now boot your computer from this CD and follow the screen instructions to reset the password.

Another simple way to reset non-administrator account passwords

Here is another simple way through which you can reset the password of any non-administrator accounts. The only requirement for this is that you need to have administrator privileges. Here is a step-by-step instruction to accomplish this task.

1. Open the command prompt (Start->Run->type cmd->Enter)

2. Now type net user and hit Enter

3. Now the system will show you a list of user accounts on the computer. Say for example you need to reset the password of the account by name mr.alshan king. then do as follows

4. Type net user mr.alshan king * and hit Enter. Now the system will ask you to enter the new password for the account. That’s it. Now you’ve successfully reset the password for John without knowing his old password.

So in this way you can reset the password of any Windows account at times when you forget it so that you need not re-install your OS for any reason. I hope this helps.

Iphone serial number

Iphone serial number

Serial number provides some interesting information about your iPhone, like the week it was manufactured, the factory id and much more.

The first step is to locate the Serial Number. The easiest way to find it is to open your Settings app and navigate to General -> About -> Serial Number. You should also see the Serial Number in the Summary tab in iTunes when your iPhone is connected to the computer.

Serial numbers come in the form AABCCDDDEEF

where

> AA = Factory and machine ID
> B = Year manufactured (simplified to final digit, 2010 is 0, 2011 is 1, etc)
> CC = Week of production
> DDD = Unique identifier
> EEF = iPhone model, color of device and size of storage

VR0 (iPhone 2G Silver 4GB) WH8 (iPhone 2G Silver 8GB) 0KH (iPhone 2G Silver 16GB) Y7H (iPhone 3G Black 8GB) Y7K (iPhone 3G Black 16GB) 3NP (iPhone 3GS Black 16GB) 3NR (iPhone 3GS Black 32GB) 3NQ (iPhone 3Gs White 16GB) 3NS (iPhone 3Gs White 32GB) A4S (iPhone 4 Black 16GB) A4T (iPhone 4 Black 32GB)

E00 (iPhone 4 White 32GB) - Courtesy IyonUK

For example, the serial 79028XXXA4S is from factory 79 (presumably Foxconn), was manufactured in 2010 in the 28 week, and is a black 16GB iPhone 4.

Unfortunately, Apple has changed the serial number generation with the CDMA iPhone 4, so this is not applicable for the CDMA iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.

HIDE DATA IN MOBILE WITHOUT ANY SOFTWARE

HIDE DATA IN MOBILE WITHOUT ANY SOFTWARE

Have you ever wanted to hide folders in your phone? If yes, there here is very interesting solution for you to hide folders in your phone and youdont even need any software for that.
This trick can be used for any JAVA phone from Nokia,Samsung,Motorola,LG or any other company.
JUST FOLLOW SIMPLE STEPS
  1. Create any new folder or you can use any existing folder that is to be hidden.
  2. Rename the folder to any name but with the extension of .jad like if I want to hide my images folder then I will name it as IMG.jad
  3. Now create a new folder with the same name in the same directory but with the extension of.jar So, I would create the folder with the name IMG.jar
  4. And thats it!! My orignal images folder which has been renamed with .jad gets hidden and only folder with.jar extension is visible which is empty. So,my data is protected/hidden from unwanted eyes.

To unhide the orignal folder you have to remove the .jar extension from the new folder and your orignal folder with all the files and with .jad will become visible.

Method #1 - Kill explorer.exe

Do successfully delete an undeletable file that is caught be the explorer.exe process (and most of them are) do the following:
  1. Open a Command Prompt window and leave it open.
  2. Close all open programs.
  3. You now need to close EXPLORER.EXE. The proper way to shutdown Explorer is to raise the "Shut Down Windows" dialog (select "Shut Down..." from the start menu), hold down CTRL+SHIFT+ALT and press the CANCEL button. Explorer will exit cleanly.
Note: The <CTRL+SHIFT+ALT> at the 'Shut Down Windows' dialog method of closing Explorer is built into Explorer. (It was specifically designed so that developers writing Shell Extensions could get Explorer to release their Shell Extension DLLs while debugging them).
  1. Go back to the Command Prompt window and change to the directory where the undeletable file is located in. At the command prompt type DEL <filename> where <filename> is the file you wish to delete.
  2. Go back to Task Manager, click File, New Task and enter EXPLORER.EXE to restart the GUI shell.
  3. Close Task Manager. Copy By.mr.alshan king

Configure local user options

Configure local user options

I hate the Users icon in the Control Panel. I rather edit the user properties myself and not let a dumb wizard do it for me.
Follow the next steps:
  1. Right-click My Computer and choose Manage.
  1. In the Computer Management window (there's much you can do from that window - look around if you haven't by now) click the Local Users and Groups console, and then click the Users sub-folder (double-click to expand it if it hasn't by now).
  1. In the right-pane select any user and right-click it. Choose Properties.
  1. You can make some changes to the selected user, including disabling it, resetting his password and so on.
Warning! Do not play around with the Administrator and the Guest built-in users nor with the built-in groups unless you know exactly what you're doing. You might lock yourself out and then come crying to me. I won't support you. Be warned! copy By: mr.alshan king

Configure local user options - extended

I told you I hate the Users icon in the Control Panel. Now that you know about the LUSRMGR.MSC tool (yes, try to run that from the Run menu) you're probably wondering what else there is to do with a simple local user.
Well, for one thing - how about configuring his or her logon hours?
"Well ok" you say. "How do we do that? Local Users and Groups console, right?"
No! These wise guys from MS figured that you don't need that much control over local users. Why would you? Local users are for workgroups and thus don't need that many setting to be configure.
Wrong!
Sometimes you do want to change a user setting for one reason or another. Why don't we have a GUI interface for that?
Well, we don't. We need to use the NET USER command from the CMD console.
Follow the next steps:
  1. Run the CMD command from the Run menu (or from the Quick Launch toolbar if you've followed my tips so far).
  2. Type in
net user xxxxxx
(where xxxxxx is the username you want to edit)
The command displays the user's properties, all of them, not just the ones MS wants you to see. For instance, you can see when was his or her last logon, when he or here have changed their password etc.
  1. Type in
    net user xxxxxx /times:s-f,8-19
(where xxxxxx is the username you want to edit, the s-f means Sunday to Friday and 8-19 means the hours of the day when you want the user to be able to log-on)
    Again, run
    net user xxxxxx
    and see the difference.
Type in
net user xxxxxx /times:all
to get the user logon hours back to default.9
  1. Play around with the NET USER command. You can get it to do very nice things (read the Create Users for Testing Purposes page for an example).

Disable the Error Reporting option

I don't want Microsoft to know about the errors I have (if any) on my system You don't either. Disable this option and stop those annoying pop-up screens that ask you if you want to report this or other error to Microsoft. Read more about it on the Turn-Off Error Reporting in Windows XP/2003 page.
Follow the next steps:
  1. Right-click My Computer and select Properties (or press the Windows logo key ÿ and the Pause/Break key together).
  2. In the Advanced tab press the Error Reporting button.
  1. Select Disable Error Reporting. If you want you can select the option to let you know what happened (in case of an application error). Copy by:mr.alshan king
  1. Click Ok all the way out.

Add Local Area Connection icons to your system tray

Add Local Area Connection icons to your system tray

Instead of right-clicking the Network Places icon and then re-right-clicking your LAN icons - make these icons appear on your system tray area for quicker access to the LAN and protocol settings (such as changing TCP/IP settings).
Follow the next steps:
  1. Right-click an My Network Places on the desktop.
  1. In the Network Connections window - right click the Local Area Connection icon. If you have more than one NIC installed you can do the same for all NICs. Copy By: mr.alshan king
  1. In the Local Area Connection Properties window select the "Show icon in the notification...". Click Ok.
  1. A new icon appears in the tray area near the clock. Right click it and choose Properties to quickly access your network settings.
BTW, each time the NIC is disconnected it will tell you that it is and you will see a red X over the icon.

Copy the I386 source folder to your HD and change the source path

Copy the I386 source folder to your HD and change the source path

If you installed XP from your CD then whenever it needs a source file (such as when you add an un-installed feature) it will ask you for the CD. You can make life easier if you just copy the I386 source folder from the CD to a partition on your HD.
Follow the next steps:
  1. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the I386 folder on your installation CD (make sure it's in the drive you moron!).
  2. Right click the I386 folder and choose Copy.
  1. Browse to the partition where you want to copy the files to. I use C:\
  2. Right click the destination partition or folder and select Paste.
Let it finish to copying process. The folder is approximately 482mb in size (can differ depending on your SP version - read the Windows 2000/XP SP Slipstreaming page for more info).
  1. Download THIS zipped file. Extract it and run the enclosed VB script. The script (Copy by Mr.alshan king) will let you change the default path where XP looks for the I386 folder from the original location on the CD to the new destination folder.
Done!

Restore my Desktop icons!

Restore my Desktop icons!

XP hides you regular desktop icons. I don't know why, but some sick mind in Seattle thought that a desktop without Internet Explorer, My Computer, My Documents and the My Network Places icons looks nicer.
I don't.
So I want to get them back.
Follow the next steps:
  1. Right-click an empty space on your desktop. Choose Properties.
  1. In the Display Properties window go to the Desktop tab and click the Customize Desktop button.
  1. In the Desktop Icons section click to select all the icons you want.
  1. Click Ok all the way out.
  2. Your icons are back.

enables the user to re-password

This tweak gives a user the opportunity to use it for good or bad. It enables the user to re-password any account without having to know the existing password and also shows you every account that exists on the machine (even the ones that are hidden). This is a good tool to use if you forgot a password to say your administrator account and you needed to be logged into the admin account for any reason.

>>To view all of the user accounts:

1) While logged onto the computer, click on Start>Run>and type in CMD.
2) From the command prompt window, type in cmd net users
This will show you every account that is made onto the computer whether it is hidden or not.

To change an account password:
1) While logged into the computer to an account that has administrative rights, click on Start>Run>and type>>CMD>>

2) Type in net user then the name of the account then * and press enter. heres an example: net user administrator * or net user "TRICKS GOD" * . Put the name in quotes if it contains spaces.

3) From there it should ask for a new password. Type in your new password (type very carefully - the command window won't display what you type) and once more to confirm it. If you get the message that the command succeeded successfully you're all set!!
